There are 2 ways to trigger an alert in the Callie app, manual and automatic. Manual alarms are triggered by yourself in the app when you feel like you're in immediate danger. Automatic alarms are triggered when the timer in your 'Watch Over Me' session reaches 0.
To trigger a Manual Alarm:
Slide the alert button in the Callie App
A 10-second countdown will begin. This allows you to optionally cancel if this was a mistake.
Once the countdown reaches zero, an alert is sent to your guardians!
Your guardians will receive a notification and be able to access your real-time GPS location
To trigger an Automatic Alarm:
Create a 'Watch Over Me' session following the instructions here
Wait for the countdown to reach zero
Your guardians will receive a notification and be able to access your real-time GPS location
